I don't think I've ever had a grown up family vacation without my parents, but we had a great time and squeezed 6 adults and 6 kids into a 4 bedroom house. My brother-in-law from London came down and my brother from the south came up.
In the midst of all this fun, we did have a tragedy. After my sister-in-law April had carried our niece for 15 weeks (they had just found out that the baby was a girl), our littlest one past away in the hospital a few days after the vacation. Abby and Sam came and stayed with us, but it was an incredibly sad time that we were all still mourning.
We are already talking about another summer vacation in 2012 for the trio.
